If you are interested in being in the parade,having a booth at the festival, sponsoring Cherry Days, having an ad in our brochure, putting a team in the volleyball tournament, showing your ‟56 Chevy Nomad in the carshow or participating in any of the other events, give us a call.

THE MISS NORTH OGDEN PAGEANT IS SCHEDULED TO BE HELD ON

SATURDAY, JUNE 4TH AT WEBER HIGH SCHOOL.
Registration packets must be completed and all fees must be paid
by the February 15th deadline. Contestants must be between 17 and 24 years old, and
live in North Ogden, go to Weber High or work in North Ogden.
$100.00 for residents - $150.00 for non-residents
LITTLE MISS PAGEANT WILL BE HELD ON JUNE 1ST
AT WEBER HIGH. Packets will be available at the Community Services Office from April 4-12.
Registration is April 12th between 4 and 7p.
Girls must be at least 6 years old but not yet 8 years old on June 1st.

North Ogden City will control all candy throwing. This will be done with the Youth Council and North Shore employees. They will have a wagon carrying 5 gallon buckets of candy. Two youth will be together-one throwing the candy from a bag and the other with the wagon. They will need to be trained not to hand out candy, but to throw it into the crowd.
The candy that is distributed must be heavy enough to be thrown the adequate distance.
Nothing will be thrown from the floats. If a business would like to distribute t-shirts, footballs, etc., they will need to do it from the side of the road and in the same manner that the City is distributing the candy. A $5.00 fee will be added to all entries in the parade to offset the purchase of candy. Extra volunteers will be available to free up police officers.
North Ogden Police officers will use their cars and bikes to patrol each side of the road for crowd control. If an entry is observed breaking the rules, they will immediately be escorted out of the parade. People cannot leave or join a float while it is in the parade.
These new guidelines will be addressed in the City newsletter, Cherry Days book, Standard Examiner and on the website. A car or fire engine will lead off the parade announcing the changes and requesting that people stay behind the white line.
